It could be said that we are in the wild west of the cannabis industry. There are currently no regulatory standards to what goes into your CBD oil and it is unfortunate to say that most of what is sold as CBD oil hardly has CBD in it.
There is also a common misconception that just because you’re taking CBD you’ll get its positive effect but that’s simply not true. It’s important to understand that CBD oil is just that, an oil. The human body is very bad at absorbing oils into its system because the human body is composed of mostly water and as most you know, oil and water dont mix. In fact only about 4-15% of the oil is actually absorbed into the body compared to the products on this page which have up to 94% absorption, because of its affinity towards water.
It’s also important to know how to distinguish a legitimate supplier of CBD from a scam, because there are hardly any regulations in this industry and because CBD is mostly sold as a supplement the FDA actually does not need to give approval or regulate the supplement industry, including the booming cannabinoid industry. Where does you product come from? Is it imported? Can you identify the field? The grower? Is it organic? But most importantly, what is the absorption rate? These are important questions to ask yourself when purchasing any CBD product. Always look at the ingredients tab and make sure you see something like: CBD oil, Hemp CBD oil, or cannabidiol.
It is also worth noting that the US is the largest importer of CBD in the world and most of what is imported from China, which as one might guess their regulations are mediocre at best and the quality of your product will undoubtedly suffer.
Since the body is so bad at absorbing oils the products I sell on my page are all water soluble and do not come in capsules they come in their pure liquid state and are to be taken sublingual for maximum absorption. It is also all 100% US made and come from fields in Colorado and are of course Organic.
